How to Create Book Trailers
A book trailer should make people want to read the story. What makes your book a "must read"? The most important part of a book trailer is the PLANNING.
Step 1: Check out the websites below to view different book trailers. This will also help you get some ideas when you create your own.
Step 2: Choose your movie maker. Remember, you can create your slides in Microsoft PowerPoint and then convert them to .jpg to upload to a movie maker. If you choose to use Voki or xtranormal you can skip Steps 4 & 5.

Step 4: Choose ROYALTY FREE images and download/save to your folder on the school's shared drive or to your flash drive. Be sure to include in your credits (last screen of trailer) the name of the image, photographer's name, and the website where you found the image. (You will skip this step if you're creating your trailer in xtranormal or Voki)

Step 6: Give your URL to Mrs. Young (either email or write it down) so we can make a QR Tag for the book, upload the link to the Destiny catalog (MARC Tag 856), and add the link to the library website.
